Sean Philyaw is a Commercial Sales Associate with a unique background in commercial real estate investment, land development, business ownership, and property management. Serving clients throughout Gainesville, Buford, Hall County, and Northeast Georgia, Sean brings firsthand experience as an investor and entrepreneur to help businesses, property owners, and investors make informed real estate decisions.

Inspired by his grandfather’s advice to “buy dirt” because they are not making any more of it, Sean began investing in real estate in 2003. Over the past two decades, he has developed extensive experience with a variety of property types, including office/warehouse facilities, retail properties, commercial land, and recreational timberland. His personal investment experience gives him valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges involved in owning, developing, and managing commercial real estate.

Sean has specialized knowledge in land investment and timberland management, including the planning and development considerations involved with planting Longleaf Pine trees through government cost-sharing programs. His experience with land use, zoning processes, project development, construction, and property management allows him to provide clients with a comprehensive perspective when evaluating commercial properties and land opportunities.

In addition to his real estate background, Sean spent more than 20 years as the owner of EuroTruck Importers, a niche business that required building relationships with vendors and customers around the world. This entrepreneurial experience strengthened his ability to understand client needs, negotiate effectively, and deliver exceptional customer service with a commitment to the values of trust, responsiveness, and Southern hospitality.

A native of Gainesville, Georgia, and a current resident of Buford, Sean has deep connections throughout Northeast Georgia. He is a graduate of North Hall High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia.

Outside of commercial real estate, Sean enjoys cooking, baking, live music, reading, writing, riding motorcycles, cycling, and spending time outdoors. His active lifestyle reflects the same curiosity, creativity, and passion he brings to helping clients achieve their commercial real estate goals.
